100 years in the making
For over 100 years, Bradley's Supermarkets has been at the heart of the local community. From a horse-drawn cart in 1921 to the modern stores our customers know today, our story has always been built on family, quality, and serving local people.
1921
Founded by Charles Ernest Bradley, our journey started with a horse-drawn cart delivering fresh fruit and vegetables to local villages.
1930's
Our first motorised mobile store brought fresh produce to even more local families and we opened our first shop premises in Mountsorrel.
1970's
Bradley’s moved to Station Road in Quorn, creating the store that became a cornerstone of village life for generations.
1983
The opportunity arose to open our store in Rothley - a great chance to develop our relationship with more of the local community.
2005
Under the ownership of David Matthews, the previous generation to take over the business, the Quorn store took on a further extension.
2021
Most recently, both stores have undergone a refit to meet the changing demands of customers and expand the Bradley's Kitchen range.
